Job Description

The IT Lead Application Analyst SAP C4C will be responsible for defining, developing, and supporting SAP Cloud for Customer (Service and Sales) applications and related integrations at FBIN. This role is responsible for helping maintain our Sales and Service systems and processes as well as implementing enhancements working closely with business stakeholders and other IT associates.

Position location - This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. RESPONSIBLIITIES:

What you will be doing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP C4C Sales and Service Lead Application Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the SAP Cloud for Sales and Service platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that meet business needs.
  • System Support: Provide day-to-day system and application support, including user setup, management, and training. Troubleshoot and debug system issues.
  • Technical Development and Project Support: Design, develop, and implement custom functionalities and integrations using SAP Cloud SDK and other tools. Customize and extend SAP Sales and Service Cloud functionalities based on business requirements. Implement integrations between SAP Sales and Service Cloud and other systems, including mash-up development.
  • Development Expertise: Utilize advanced programming skills within SAP Sales and Service Cloud, demonstrating proficiency with SDK Cloud Studio Development Tool, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI) tool, and transport processes through the C4C Landscape. Apply knowledge of C4C Reporting and Analytics, and expertise in Business Configurator/Scoping to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Business Requirements: Analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions within SAP Cloud for Sales and Service. Create clear and effective reporting based on business requests.
  • System Optimization: Optimize system performance, ensure scalability, and suggest improvements to existing configurations and workflows. Facilitate upgrades, patching, and module implementations.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules and third-party systems. Provide technical leadership by coordinating and supporting managed services/external resources and priorities, mentoring junior developers and guiding the implementation of best practices. Collaborate with business teams to refine internal processes and systems, driving efficiency and standardization. Optimize system performance, ensuring scalability and reliability. Suggest innovative uses for new features introduced in quarterly releases and recommend enhancements to existing configurations and workflows to boost system performance and improve user experience.
  • Testing & Documentation: Conduct system testing, debugging, and documentation. Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of system configuration changes, workflows, process extensions, and events.
  • Governance & Risk Management: Leverage IT governance processes to ensure proper project definition and control. Manage risk through corporate compliance and support Agile methodologies.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest SAP C4C Sales and Service technologies and best practices.
  • Coordinate and support managed services/external resources and priorities.


Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7+ years' experience with SAP Cloud architecture development and implementation with Customer Service and Sales focus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as ABSL, ABAP, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Proficiency with Fiori user experience and apps framework.
  • Strong understanding of SAP C4C integration tools and APIs. SCPI and Marketing Cloud a plus.
  • Telephony integrations, preferably CXOne.
  • Proven track record of successful, full-scale SAP C4C implementation projects from a leadership and development perspective, preferably using the Agile development methodology.
  • Self-motivated, team player that is task oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Past experience working with the offshore and ability to administrate the offshore delivery.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on focus on system usability, user training where applicable, and customer satisfaction.
  • Comfortable and competent in developing technical design specifications, documenting system and business processes from inception to completion to build organization and system knowledgebases.
  • Ability to build and maintain cross-functional work relationships with internal/external customers.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • SAP Jam
    • Customer Portals
    • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • System knowledge of SAP ECC and SCM or other large ERP system a plus.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with other Enterprise CRM applications (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
