Responsibilities : - Lead the development and implementation of data models to support various projects and initiatives. - Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of data to ensure accuracy and reliability. - Provide expert insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into existing systems and workflows. - Develop and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and methodologies. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data management. - Conduct quality assurance checks on data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors. - Utilize advanced analysis tools and techniques to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets. - Train and mentor junior analysts on data modeling and analysis techniques. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and data modeling practices. - Participate in project planning and provide input on data requirements and timelines. - Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and workflows. Qualifications - - Possess a strong background in data modeling with extensive experience in analysis. - Demonstrate proficiency in using analysis tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar software. - Have a solid understanding of data formats, standards, and best practices. - Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Show excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Hold a degree in Geography, Science, Data Science, or a related field. - Have experience in developing and implementing data models for various applications. - Be familiar with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis. - Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. - Possess strong documentation skills to maintain clear and comprehensive records of data models and processes. - Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and advancements. - Have experience in training and mentoring junior analysts. - Be able to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. 9.
