This role is responsible for managing the definition, design, and development of reporting/dashboard for Aspen Dental Management, Inc., and for data integration from internal and external source systems into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Compensation: $153,650/year

This role is responsible for managing the definition, design, and development of reporting/dashboard for Aspen Dental Management, Inc., and for data integration from internal and external source systems into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
Responsibilities
As a Senior SQL Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing complex ETL data loading packages
- Driving for and creating ETL architectural and development standards
- Adhering to ETL/DataWarehouse/Datamart development best practices
- Identifying and resolving any performance and/or data related issues
- Designing, constructing, deploying, testing, and supporting standard reports, dashboards, self-service queries and data visualizations
- Conducting data analysis of internal and external data sources
- Ensuring data is collected and structured in a way to ensure performance and maintainability
- Providing documentation (Data Mapping, Technical Specifications, Production Support, data dictionaries, test cases, etc.)
- Providing production support of the data warehouse as well as ETL jobs used to support the data warehouse; this includes being an active member of the point rotation as well as providing support to other team members that are covering point
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field and 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence including:
- 5 years with MSBI Stack - SQL Server DBMS, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- 5 years of MS SQL Server Database Design/Development
- 5 years of Data Warehousing
- 5 years Microsoft SQL Development (T-SQL)
And demonstrated proficiency with:
- Data Modeling
- Source Control (TFS, RedGate, etc.)
- Project team leadership
OR
