We're seeking someone to join our team as a Senior Market Data Analyst to provide trusted advisor BU relationship management, analysis of BU requirements and consumption drivers, engagement with vendors on product and service offerings, and development and execution of demand management programs.

In the Corporate Services division, we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience, while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is a Vice President level position within Global Supplier Services. The Global Market Data (GMD) group includes Market Data Sourcing, Analysis, Administration, and Inventory Management teams. The Market Data Analysis team partners with each Business Unit (BU) to analyze, evaluate, and understand business requirements for market data, to identify the data sources and vendor products needed to execute the business, and to influence and advise on best-fit solutions.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Lead and develop a team of 2-3 Market Data Analysts, aligning with global objectives and managing performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit (BU) COO teams and stakeholders to provide strategic advice on market data usage and spending.
  • Oversee the generation of management summaries for projects and initiatives, and provide insights to support process improvements across teams.
  • Manage the selection and evaluation of market data products, including overseeing trials, product demonstrations, and leading global data initiatives.
  • Work with Sourcing Managers to understand vendor strategies, manage product displacements, and facilitate global contract renewals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through demand management, particularly in contract renewals and vendor negotiations, and collaborate on financial reporting and budgeting with Finance Reporting and BU COO teams.


What you'll bring to the role:
  • Possesses strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Excellent communicator with robust interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of data provider products, vendor strategies, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in market data strategies.
  • Skilled in project management and organizational tasks, with a proficiency in MS Office, BI tools, and systems like Ariba and FITS-Market Data Inventory.
  • Proactive and adaptable team player capable of prioritizing tasks and translating complex business needs into clear, actionable plans.
