Join Ingram Micro, a global leader in technology and supply chain solutions, as an Industrial Engineer supporting our high-tech, automated distribution centers across the U.S. Based in Mira Loma, CA, you'll be a key player in designing and improving warehouse operations that power the modern supply chain.

In this dynamic role, you'll evaluate and enhance warehouse processes related to configuration, kitting, assembly, reverse logistics, and fulfillment. You'll apply Lean principles, advanced analytics, and hands-on collaboration to optimize labor standards, process flows, space utilization, and safety initiatives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Design and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and throughput across distribution center operations.
  • Develop and refine engineered labor standards and performance reporting tools in partnership with operational teams.
  • Conduct time studies, workflow assessments, and layout redesigns using AutoCAD and simulation tools.
  • Analyze labor models and cost impacts to support operational decision-making and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Research and recommend new equipment or technology to support material handling and storage optimization.


What You Bring to the Team:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in distribution, supply chain, or logistics engineering, ideally in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, Visio, and Excel.
  • Basic AutoCAD experience.
  • Experience developing labor standards (MOST certification preferred) and applying them through a Labor Management System (LMS).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
  • Knowledge of WMS systems (experience with SAP, Manhattan, or similar a plus).
  • Familiarity with simulation tools and Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,800.00 - $130,900.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
