About This Opportunity

InComm's Enterprise Security organization is growing, and we are looking to add a strong Zscaler Security Engineer to our Atlanta-based team. In this role, you will leverage your Zscaler skills to assess security threats and implement controls throughout our infrastructure. To excel in this position, you need strong communication skills and the ability to present to both technical and non-technical teams.

The Cyber Security Engineering & Architecture team is responsible for owning the tools that other operations teams use within InComm Payments' network and is also responsible for the devices that sit on the edge of the network. As the Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving solutions for the InComm Security program. This position must be well-versed in understanding the IT landscape including security, infrastructure, network, client, server, emerging technology standards and trends and will be involved in strategy, design, and engineering to contribute to the development of protection and secure solutions

This is a remote position with no regular daily onsite responsibilities; however, we need someone in the Greater Atlanta area to be able to go onsite to our data centers from time to time to perform security networking infrastructure duties and on-site incident remediation as required.

Responsibilities

  • Capable of system design in support of security countermeasure deployments including firewalls, intrusion prevention and detection systems (IDPS), secure internet gateway (SIG)/ Zscaler, network access control (NAC), vulnerability management systems, logging (SIEM/UEBA) and encryption (HSM).
  • Ability to troubleshoot security systems during rotational on-call support.
  • Work with the 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) handling incoming security threat information or vulnerabilities
  • Review network requests and system configurations to enforce security policies and standards.
  • Support the encryption key management program as a key custodian.
  • Build systems to the InComm Security Policies and Standards and maintain the security processes and procedures.
  • Fully document all incidents, review for trends, and proactively identify chronic problems.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience on an enterprise security team
  • Strong knowledge and experience with deploying Zscaler solutions, specifically ZPA and ZIA
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available in an on-call rotation in a 24x7 environment.
  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with IT resources, business contacts, and clients.
  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, work in high-pressure situations, and/ or for extended hours
  • The ideal candidate has an advanced understanding of how IT components interact and depend upon one another including network systems, server systems, applications, databases, and storage systems.

Education & Certifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field is preferred, but not required.
  • A Zscaler certification is preferred but not required. Career development plan to include certifications upon hire.
