Job Summary
The Program Director of Pre-Intern Programs is responsible for the coordination of support programs for teachers who are not yet credentialed in Alameda County, including teachers with emergency permits, substitute teachers, and those who are working toward licensure. The Program Director of Pre-Intern Programs will develop and manage systems of support for teachers working toward Preliminary licensure in California, innovating to support professional development needs, credentialing needs, and to provide individualized counseling in order to help to develop and retain teachers who are not yet credentialed. This position reports to the Executive Director of Educator Development.
