U.S. Base Salary Range:
$137,000.00 - $215,270.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. Job Description
About the role:
The Senior Program Manager, Global Oncology is a recognized partner in managing complex projects which have a broad impact on the oncology business unit (OBU) and collaborating departments (e.g. oncology therapeutic area unit [OTAU]).
- Supports global, multi-disciplinary project teams from initiation to closure to achieve the program's strategic objectives
- Supports planning and execution for cross functional team deliverables
- Contributes to the implementation of project management standards and best practices within OBU
- Works closely and collaborates with Global Oncology Functions to create end to end integrated plans.
How you will contribute:
Brand/Asset Program Management
- Provides program management support for cross functional global brand teams (GBTs) and works closely together with the Global Brand Leader (GBL), Global Medical Lead (GML) and PVA Lead to provide coordination for cross functional delivery of integrated team deliverables
- Facilitate cross functional meeting management to enable key discussions and decisions within the team, from agenda & materials development, meeting minutes and action items issuance and tracking
- Supports brand/launch tactical plans development and oversight, including identification of interdependencies and connections between departments and progress tracking/reporting
- Define and manage critical path, proactively identifies and escalates issues
- Develops team resources, including project plans and collaboration sites for efficient planning, action item tracking, reference materials , and collaboration on shared documents.
- Partners with the GBL, GML, PVA Lead and Finance representative to support with financial oversight of the global program budget
- Effectively engages with key stakeholders, ensuring positive team dynamics via strong meeting facilitation, , encouraging a "speak up" culture, and utilization of the collaborative decision-making model
"Above Brand" Project Management & Operational excellence
- Provides project management support for Global PVA team on readiness and execution efforts for internal ways of working in response to evolving market access landscape requirements.
- Provides project management support to above-brand priority organizational projects as identified; generates collaboration, cooperation and communication across functions and regional teams, as relevant
- Support the definition, creation, documentation and maintenance of project management standards, processes and tools and develop and promote the use of PM best practices across OBU.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for change; plans for team to meet new challenges.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science or business-related field
- Minimum 4-5 years of project management experience
- Demonstrated previous experiences as project manager leading pharmaceutical project deliverables in a multi-disciplinary, global environment
- Experience utilizing various collaboration tools for support of cross-functional activities
- Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely communicate key information to stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross functional discussions and decision making
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with PMI desired
- Experience working in matrix teams, influencing outcomes and key project decisions
- Experience establishing and supporting global teams across geographic regions
- Familiarity with Global Market Access landscape
- Oncology commercial launch experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to assess business needs and apply process and systems-based solutions and take initiatives from concept to completion
- Ability to work across geographic areas with sensitivity to cultural differences
- Ability to establish and articulate processes which impact cross-functionally
- Ability to appropriately raise issues to stakeholders , to bring an insightful approach to problem solving, and to communicate issues to stakeholders in a mature, professional manner
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and SmartSheets

- Strong communication skills - written and verbal in order to facilitate meetings with teams and issue clear pre/post communications
