- ResponsibilitiesResponsible for participating in relevant aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Work within a scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved applications. Work with clients, product managers, architects, software engineers, and more to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees. Participate in SCRUM calls and choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. Develop automation and testing and advocate necessary changes to improve the end-user experience of the payroll products. Work on Selenium, Java Script, and Cucumber test automation framework to create complex test scenarios for system integration. Be familiar with spring boot, open-source tools like kafka and have good understanding in server, database & storage technologies. Participate in agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, where the work is presented to stakeholders. Create test plans, test cases, and scenarios for large-scale, complex software applications. Verify and validate applications from an end-user perspective. Own the releases with the product features and be responsible for building out the plans, identifying problems, and solving them. Communicate and collaborate with technical developers and multiple stakeholders for the products.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and five (5) years of related experience.
- Work Experience. Three (3) years of experience must include: Java; J2EE; Groovy; JavaScript; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit and Jest; Rest Assured, TestNG, Spock, Cucumber BDD, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium IDE, & Selenium Grid frameworks; Microservice architecture; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; SQL Database (Oracle) & Mongo DB; GIT, Bitbucket & Source tree; IDE: IntelliJ, Visual Studio, Eclipse; Jenkins, Gradle & Maven; Postman, SOAP UI & Apache Directory Studio; Apache Kafka & Zookeeper; Spring boot; JIRA & HP ALM; Splunk & Dynatrace for monitoring; Log4J & SLF4J; Extent reports reporting library.
