Engagement Leaders play a critical role in client management, project delivery, and team development. In this role you will contribute to the overall success of each engagement through project design, management and delivery. Your ability to understand client needs and design and execute a project plan will be critical, as will your ability to direct senior consultants, consultants, and analysts.
Responsibilities:
Structure a project plan including primary research (HCP, patient, payer, internal stakeholders) and secondary research and analysis, milestones, workshops, etc.
Lead or participate in day-to-day client interactions
Design deliverables that clearly communicate key findings, providing actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders
Work interactively with your project teams to share insights, incorporate feedback, and evolve analysis and deliverables
Supervise consultants and analysts in research (primary, secondary, vendor management) and in the development of well-designed PowerPoint slides that tell a clear and compelling story
Provide structured and actionable feedback to team members to maximize professional development
Assist Principals and Directors with pitches and proposals providing critical feedback on project design, timelines, etc.
Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with a management, life sciences or strategy consulting firm supporting pharmaceutical and biopharma/biotech clients. Experience working on rare disease therapy/treatment projects preferred.
MBA/PhD or BS in business, life sciences, or related field
Demonstrated experience in team management, including leading and mentoring project team members and direct reports
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and client engagements for pharmaceutical, rare disease or biopharma clients
Ability to work in-person in our New York City office at a minimum of three days per week
Able to start within 2-4 weeks upon accepting an offer
