Job Description
The Financial Analysis Manager independently leads and directs the daily execution of financial analysis and the communication of results. This role facilitates business objectives with minimal guidance by proactively identifying potential issues, anticipating their business implications, and recommending effective solutions. Additionally, the manager is responsible for building financial team excellence and developing a high-performing team of data and financial analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Advisory & Consultative Support:
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor and subject matter expert in the absence of the Senior Management, assisting Business Unit leaders and partners across forecasting, planning, measurement, business case development, capital management, and internal controls.
- Build and communicate compelling storylines and forward-thinking insights that go beyond just the numbers to help leaders understand results and proactively address challenges and opportunities.
Strategic & Operational Planning:
- Oversee the preparation of strategic and operating plans for the Business Unit, leveraging forecast updates to influence and support key management decisions.
Project & Team Leadership:
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams as a financial advisor, ensuring a collaborative approach that integrates comprehensive financial analysis with actionable business intelligence.
- Guide and mentor data and financial analysts, fostering an environment of continuous learning, efficient operations, effective conflict resolution, and process/system improvements.
- Direct and coordinate the work of IT partners to guarantee seamless integration and optimal performance of data technologies, including the Power BI HUB and new reporting tools such as Workiva.
Data Governance & Technical Oversight:
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of dynamic financial reports using Power BI or other designated tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity through robust governance practices.
- Build familiarity with the Planning tool to understand its implications on plan reporting data flows, supporting integrated financial modeling and analysis.
Analytics & Story Lining:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in investment data attributes-from portfolio and asset-level structures to internal and external reporting views.
- Lead analytical discussions and facilitate the development of analytical models, tools, dashboards, and presentation materials that translate complex data into clear strategic insights for decision-making.
Education
4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
Experience
7 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position includes supervisory duties, with responsibility for building and leading a dynamic team of financial and data analysts.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $92,560.00 - 166,465.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
