The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for delegating custom engineering projects to a
team of Project Engineers, Project Managers, Designers and Drafters. This role requires the ability to
manage a variety of detailed engineering designs/projects ranging from simple to complex. This is a hybrid position in our Libertyville, IL office.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Mechanical engineering preferred
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
10+ years of industrial design experience (structural and piping)
Professional Engineering (PE) License a plus
Previous experience designing capital equipment a plus
AUTOCAD drafting or 3D modeling experience a plus
Strong leadership skills and excellent oral/written communication skills
Target Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for competitive benefits, including paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, disability benefits and 401(k).

Responsibilities:
- Manage, train and develop a team of Project Engineers, Designers and Drafters.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and entire Commercial and Industrial Team to ensure
client specifications are met. - Conduct the specification and sizing of internally designed or externally purchased fluid.
- Handling components (piping, pumps, valves, flow & pressure sensing devices).
- Integrate components into product system designs to meet customer requirements.
- Produce P&IDs, PFDs, general arrangements, and piping design throughout design phase.
- Create project schedules and plans.
- Participate in cross-functional design collaboration.
- Work alongside the director in scheduling workflow and implementing best practice
procedures. - Interact with customers and vendors in an independent nature.
- Lead projects and provide support to project engineering team.
