We're looking for a forward-thinking Director of AAD Engineering to lead and scale our efforts across AI, Data, and Automation. This is a strategic leadership role passionate about building impactful AI solutions, growing our enterprise data capabilities, and driving automation-while elevating engineering standards and innovation across the board.
How will you make an impact:
- Serve as a leader with a point of view in crafting the AAD engineering strategy and lead its execution through the design and delivery of scalable, high-impact solutions across AI, Data, and Automation.
- Lead the development of AI solutions-from experimentation to deployment-that enhance automation, improve decision-making, and align with business priorities to deliver tangible value.
- Enhance and scale existing data engineering capabilities to power robust, reliable, and well-governed pipelines and solutions- enabling advanced analytics, AI applications, operational intelligence, and enterprise-wide data utilization
- Drive automation efforts by identifying and implementing solutions that optimize workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve reliability across engineering and business operations.
- Engage effectively with internal customers, translating complex business needs into scalable, practical engineering solutions-and making it easier for teams to collaborate and drive shared outcomes.
- Provide end-to-end ownership of engineering delivery, from architectural design through development and deployment, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical standards.
- Champion strong multi-functional collaboration across product, architecture, operations, and business teams to shape cohesive solutions, align on priorities, and deliver measurable impact.
- Act as a forward-looking technology leader, introducing the latest engineering practices, evaluating emerging tools and platforms, and helping shape long-term technical direction.
- Set the standard for engineering excellence by promoting clean architecture, performance optimization, system scalability, and operational reliability as core practices.
- Build and lead a strong engineering team with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Encourage cross-skilling across AI, Automation, and Data Engineering to deliver end-to-end solutions as one unified AAD team

Bachelors' degree in computer science or related field preferred
Experience:
- Proven experience in leading IT engineering teams with a focus on AI, Data, and Automation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement high-impact AI solutions.
- Strong expertise in data engineering and building reliable data pipelines.
- Experience in driving automation initiatives to optimize workflows.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into practical engineering solutions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in driving engineering best practices, including clean architecture, performance tuning, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Passion for team development, with a track record of mentoring, coaching, and building diverse, high-performing, and cross-skilled teams.
