Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Video Producer who will be responsible for the successful production and delivery of video to the organization, including recording and broadcasting of internal and external videos, Video Recordings, and various training videos. Responsible for supporting the production of video content, streaming broadcasts, and overall success of video produced projects. The Video Producer will be the primary post-production role for all recording and video projects, working closely with the Marketing team and business partners to deliver consistently excellent user and technology experiences for team members, Members, and community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Video Production
Collaborative Production: Work closely with the Senior Video Producer, Marketing & Communications team, and internal and external clients to produce consistent and high-quality video content.
Post-Production Editing: Perform post-production editing on a wide range of video types, ensuring professional and polished final products.
Project Support: Support the team's design and execution of planned video production projects, contributing creative and technical expertise.
Equipment Operations: Operate physical production equipment such as cameras, lighting, and microphones to capture high-quality footage.
Liaison Role: Act as the liaison between team members and participate in the long-term roadmap of video production and broadcasting systems.
Final Production Execution: Execute the final production elements of video projects before delivery to internal and external recipients.
Innovation and Research: Research opportunities for expanding the use, features, or functionalities of existing video systems, staying ahead of industry trends.
Industry Trends: Stay up to date on industry trends, vendor performance, new products and services, security issues, and any other information relevant to recording and broadcast systems.
Documentation: Create and maintain system-related documentation for video production processes and equipment.
Pre-Production Preparation: Perform pre-production checklists and prepare lighting, audio, and video to support successful video broadcast and recording execution.
Communication: Communicate with Marketing management and Senior Video Producer on projects, support, and future needs planning, both in writing and verbally.

Campaign Intergration and Measurement
Campaign Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to integrate video content into broader marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track performance metrics for video content, providing detailed reports on effectiveness and insights for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Relationships
Key Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external agencies, and vendors, to ensure alignment and successful execution of video projects.

Development and Support
Collaborate with team on new projects to identify success measures.
Review past digital engagement programs to identify potential opportunities with the team.
Document and resolve both end-user and communication related projects.
Backup the Senior Video Producer if absent to produce broadcast shows or recordings.
Train with vendors to support new technology or enhance knowledge of current technology.
Uphold established department service standards and organizational values.
Demonstrate current technological understanding in the execution of duties.
Maintain technical proficiencies to support current and planned hardware, software, and network computing needs.

Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • A solid foundation and background in video production, basic cinematography principles, and studio/location lighting, post-production and color grading.
    • Ability to direct and coach talent not used to being in front of the camera.
    • Basic fundamentals of audio in relation to video production.
    • Proficient in lighting, cinematography with a solid foundation and understanding of video production.
    • Ability to work independently with little supervision and/ or direction.
    • Ability to develop and implement video projects.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people, including internal clients and external vendors.
    • Strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

    • Required:
    • Post-Production software experience in Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; Intermediate/advanced level in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator.

    • Preferred:
    • Experience with Microsoft Teams.
    • vMix software experience preferred, or similar streaming/production software.
    • Experience with Kaltura or broadcasting via network.
    • Experience with still photography, studio/strobe lighting.
    • Drone experience and FAA Part 107 certification.


Physical Requirements
    • Ability to travel to various branch and off-site locations as needed.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time occasionally.
    • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to use a computer keyboard, calculator, and mouse.
    • Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.


The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to bachelor's degree in computer science, A/V production, or closely related field, with a minimum of three years' experience performing post-production video editing and two to three years of narrative editing and storytelling for corporate clients, or in an advertising/marketing environment.

Compensation: Base starting range: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
