Job Description
Provide a variety of technical support and assistance to Sika sales force and Sika customers in Ready Mix, Precast and Dry Cast segments. Representation of Sika Corporation during key industry events, trade shows, and participation within the main industry associations.
Specific Responsibilities:
The main responsibility of a National Technical Representative is to provide variety of onsite and remote technical support to Sika sales force in the Concrete Systems division within the western & southwestern regions.

Job Description
Provide a variety of technical support and assistance to Sika sales force and Sika customers in Ready Mix, Precast and Dry Cast segments. Representation of Sika Corporation during key industry events, trade shows, and participation within the main industry associations.
Specific Responsibilities:
The main responsibility of a National Technical Representative is to provide variety of onsite and remote technical support to Sika sales force in the Concrete Systems division within the western & southwestern regions.
Additional requirements:
- Deep technical understanding of concrete materials (cement, aggregates, SCM, etc.) and concrete admixtures.
- Understanding of different concrete manufacturing processes (ready mix, precast and dry cast production), concrete placement, finishing, curing, etc.
- Ability to communicate the solution (mix design adjustments, production improvements, change of raw materials, etc.) in a professional manner with the goal to produce positive outcome.
- Assist sales with field testing of newly introduced products and technologies, help with gathering testing data for new product development.
- Ability to prepare and present educational presentations to our customers' employees.
- Benchmark Sika products versus competition to determine and understand advantages/disadvantages and unique selling points.
- Ability to monitor industry trends, competitors, etc.
- Be an active part of main Concrete industry associations - NRMCA, NPCA, PCI, ACI, ASTM, PCA, etc.
- Very close cooperation between Sika sales force, Research & Development and Marketing departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 15+ years' experience within the concrete industry with strong technical background.
- Experience in sales beneficial.
- Strong work ethic.
- Observant, detective and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Must have very strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent internal, external, oral, and written communication skills.
- Attention to details with analytical thinking, excellent report writing skills.
- Excellent analytical, planning and time management skills.
- Often travel is required within the western & southwestern regions.
