Description:

Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is looking for a full-time DIVISION DIRECTOR to oversee its Connecticut Division.

What We Need:
  • A positive, energetic Division Director who can be responsible for overseeing the operations related to the Susan Wayne Center of Excellence, River Run Academy Residential/Day School, and (2) Group Homes.
  • A Division Director who can help ensure the safety and well-being of students who experience emotional and behavioral difficulties in a therapeutic residential, day school, and/or group home setting.
  • A Division Director who can provide strong supervision and support, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team in order to achieve the treatment needs of our clients.
  • A Division Director who can focus on developing others.
  • A Division Director who can encourage strategic thinking, innovation and action.

The Connecticut Division is responsible for the care and treatment of approximately 70 students and employs over 100 staff members. The Division Director will work in partnership with JRI senior leaders, state partners, school districts, program staff, as well as centralized agency personnel.

What You Have:
  • Master's degree in related field of study required.
  • Significant experience leading a team through mission, vision, and core values in a residential and educational settings.
  • Experience and ability to manage, supervise, and develop multiple programs and their staff.
  • Experience working with adolescents.
  • Proven ability to form therapeutic relationships with clients, staff and family from diverse backgrounds.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Solid written/oral communication and documentation skills.
  • A positive, supportive approach.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to think "out of the box".
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
