Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, execution strategies, and detailed schedules.
    • Coordinate pre-construction planning, procurement, and site logistics.
    • Oversee project delivery from mobilization through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope and quality expectations.
    • Maintain all project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and meeting records.
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead and mentor construction teams including superintendents, engineers, and support staff.
    • Foster a high-performance culture with clear expectations and accountability.
    • Resolve conflicts and promote collaboration across all functions and trades.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Manage project budgets, change orders, and cost controls to ensure profitability.
    • Approve purchases, monitor labor/equipment utilization, and track all project-related expenditures.
    • Ensure timely billing, invoice accuracy, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations
    • Serve as the primary liaison for owners, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
    • Host weekly OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and provide timely updates to all stakeholders.
    • Ensure consistent communication, problem resolution, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Compliance & Closeout
    • Conduct routine site inspections to verify progress, safety, and quality.
    • Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, permitting, and bonding regulations.
    • Lead project closeouts, ensuring 100% punch list completion before deadlines.

  • Execution:
    • 95% on-time milestone completion; all project documents up-to-date
    • Weekly project visits and OAC meetings with captured minutes
  • Team & Leadership:
    • 80%+ employee satisfaction; strong team accountability
    • Financial Performance:
    • 100% budget tracking and cost control; on-time billing and reconciled change orders
  • Client Satisfaction:
    • 8/10 client satisfaction score; 100% stakeholder communication compliance
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • 100% project closeouts with completed punch lists before turnover


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong command of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and project controls
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, MS Project, and project management tools like Procore
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required
  • Valid driver's license; ability to meet security and badging requirements
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
