We. is looking for a Learning Experience Designer to develop world-class learning solutions for our employees worldwide as part of the Learning and Development Team. You will work on instructional design projects that utilize your expertise in learning theory, instructional technologies, and human performance technology to enhance the performance of We. employees. The solutions you create will enable improved employee and candidate experience, shorten lead times to proficiency, and provide performance support at the point of need. This includes designing, testing, and rapidly iterating instructional content for your audience, and developing knowledge assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training.

Candidates should have experience working autonomously across multiple global locations, expertise in developing and maintaining strong business relationships, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts across different fields of expertise, and implementing learning project plans. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment and develop innovative solutions.

Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Discover and Innovate: partner with business stakeholders to understand business and program goals and define a learning solution that will make their programs successful
  • Design and Develop: create performance-focused training content that engages our learners, and is aligned with the identified required business impact
  • Design and Develop: create outstanding learning tools, performance support aids, assessments, eLearning, virtual facilitator-led training, and other materials to meet identified needs
  • Design for Measurement: Design learning solutions with business impact measurement in mind
  • Evaluate: Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed
  • Deliver Results: manage projects amidst ambiguity, competing priorities, and challenging deadlines
  • Partner: Partner with Program Managers, Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional teams to build out development experiences with a global mindset

Minimum/Preferred Requirements
  • 3-5 years of work experience in instructional design, communication, education, or related field
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of instructional theories
  • Expertise using eLearning development tools such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, or Captivate
  • Experience managing projects of small to medium scope, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Global work experience
  • Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment
  • A passion for learning and education

Candidates in the Portland, OR or Seattle, WA location are preferred however the team is also open to remote employees on the west coast.

Compensation

The base annual salary range for this role, applicable across all U.S. locations, is outlined below. The actual salary may vary based on several factors such as business requirements, job responsibilities, skills, experience, and geographical location.

Salary Range

$81,000-$105,000 USD
