The Product Manager of Corporate Technology is the IT leader supporting business partners in various functions across the enterprise. This role is responsible for effectively managing teams of Technology professionals, driving them toward producing value-added results while maintaining a customer centric mindset. The role will collaborate with senior business leaders from Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Audit, and Corporate Responsibility to jointly develop a technology roadmap that aligns to the enterprise strategy, advances the business goals, and creates maximum value. Additionally, this role will ensure the technical delivery of strategic initiatives in compliance with Webster's SDLC throughout the lifecycle including Information Security considerations and architecture tollgates while overseeing the software engineering and operations teams supporting services/delivery of the respective platforms and systems.

The estimated salary range for this position is $220,000.00 to $240,000.00 130,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.

Job Responsibilities
- Meet business goals - Ensure products and solutions delivered by the team meet the economic business goals jointly established by the business and technology steams.
- Customer Centricity and understanding customer needs - As the internal representative (Voice) of the customer, continually leverage market research and trends to be able to provide best customer value.
- Technology Roadmap - Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products. Align IT Strategy and planning with application development and business roadmaps.
- Execution and delivery - Ensure quality and timely delivery of commitments. Maintain accountability for solution service design, build and run.
- Prioritization and Resource Management - Lead prioritization efforts with a goal of ensuring the team remains focused on highest value add activities. Lead and mentor staff to improve skillset, capabilities, and career growth.
- Technical review - Review and approve design, technical, and/or operational specifications as well as design alternatives developed by teams.
- Productivity - Identify and initiate work process and tool improvements that lead to increased productivity.
- Goals and objectives - Define clear work goals in line with business objectives and establish departmental priorities and expectations. Hold the team accountable for achieving these objectives while driving continuous improvement.
- Budget Management - Prepare annual department budget, provide effort estimates for change initiatives, and ensure financial oversight.
- Stakeholder Management - Liaise with senior management and provide reports/updates related to department performance.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor's Degree in directly related field required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of complex software development experience, at least 5 of which were in a supervisory capacity.
- Extensive knowledge of system development life cycle, client area's functions, and systems and applications program development alternatives.
- Experience in product management lifecycle, background in Agile framework.
- Proven ability to proactively lead, manage and communicate effectively, with strong analytical skills.
- Skilled in building and maintaining successful relationships with personnel at all organizational levels.
- Strong ability to develop and execute strategic vision with creative thinking, and planning.
- Experience working with a wide variety of systems architectures (hardware, software, networking, and databases)
- Experience with a variety of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, and others)
- Exposure to a variety of web technologies (Java, JDBC, JSP, EJB, Unix, Oracle, Internet Protocol, HTML, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of networking protocols, firewall architectures, and security systems.
