Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Human Resources People Partner to join our growing team. Reporting to the VP, Human Resources the Human Resources People Partner will be responsible for aligning People goals and objectives with employees and management at the designated site. This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to develop and deliver on service needs. The People Partner maintains an effective level of engagement, credibility, People acumen, trust, and ability to coach and mentor across all levels to ensure the employee experience is a forefront need.

Salary Range $100,000-$130,000
Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support to site location employees.
- Consults with site leadership, providing HR guidance.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Serves as the employee advocate by building strong, collaborative relationships with employees at all levels.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Active participant in driving employee engagement and culture, with emphasis in embedding and executing on Diversity & Inclusion strategies.
- Manages and resolves employee concerns.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Aligns HR initiatives and functions with the People goals, objectives, and needs.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Conduit for employees on information related to functional HR team.
- Provide strategic HR leadership and consultation focused on creating innovative strategies to anticipate and assess emerging People, organization, or people trends, and identify and implement the appropriate Human Resource solutions.
- Assists in supporting annual HR programs including but not limited to objective setting, performance evaluations, compensation planning, talent assessment and succession planning.
- Maintain an effective level of People literacy to provide a consultative approach to delivery of HR services. Leverage HR / People skills and knowledge to challenge or influence leadership in decision-making processes.
- Key partner with the People Experience and Operations team on processes and documentation.
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective People units.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in human resources
- 3+ years experience delivering human resources in a manufacturing/assembly enviornment
- Must be able to provide creative solutions and unique approaches to HR/People challenges
- Must be an authentic thought partner with confidence and courage to push boundaries in a changing environment
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proven consulting and change management experience
- Demonstrated experience with shaping culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Proven knowledge of HR industry practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to help drive People results
- Proven ability to manage conflict and the courage to challenge organizational thinking
- Prior experience supporting an Engineering and Manufacturing industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
