The Systems and Integration Engineer supports the integration of LPI's innovative rotary engines into various (often complex!) products. Primary functions include management of customer requirements, technical and business decision making, and coordination with internal and external teams.

The Systems and Integration Engineer supports the integration of LPI's innovative rotary engines into various (often complex!) products. Primary functions include management of customer requirements, technical and business decision making, and coordination with internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to the company in systems, requirements, and integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define engine system architectures.
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed system requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct trade-off studies to evaluate design architecture and concept alternatives.
- Lead the integration of systems, subsystems, and components ensuring compatibility and functionality (including with outside customers).
- Develop test plans; support system/component verification and validation.
- Create 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools (SolidWorks)
- Ensure system designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- 5+ years of relevant experience. MS or PhD in Systems Engineering is a plus.
- Experience in developing, optimizing, and integrating engines or mechanical products of similar complexity.
- Technical depth in systems, requirements, and integration engineering.
- Innovative thinker, with strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in requirements lifecycle management software (e.g., DOORS, Jama).
- Hands-on experience with prototype development and testing.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. Person status is required for this role in compliance with U.S. export control laws.
