Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and customer obsessed Risk Specialist to join the Ads Trust Policy operations team. In this role, you will be an owner, responsible for ensuring that Policy's operational queues are efficiently maintained and executed. You will own managing policy support for our most important sales events, ensuring that policies are in place, that they are well-understood, and that we are providing support to our partners internally and externally. You will deliver these results independently, translating policy-speak into responses that best fit the audience and situation, as well as proactively identifying solutions to policy issues. You will develop a deep understanding of Amazon Advertising policies, working closely with the authors of these policies as you provide guidance to partner teams and in sharing the emergent themes and feedback with Policy Managers that can be learned from the high-volume of requests that you manage. Finally, you will participate in operational improvement initiatives to bring efficiency to the processes we follow, regularly monitoring data and proactively proposing and implementing new ideas for achieving operational efficiencies. Key job responsibilities
* Independently own and manage policy operations SOPs and queues that cover critical business functions like high traffic events and other ticket queues
* Own investigating and responding to a high-volume of Ad Policy tickets from internal stakeholders
* Learn our Ad Policies in order to provide the right guidance to partner teams
* Make consistently accurate decisions on when to escalate complex and sensitive requests to Policy Managers and partner to drive towards a resolution
* Identify patterns and themes from high-volume of requests, raising those to Policy Managers for continuous policy improvement and working with operations leads to realize efficiencies
* Assess and evaluate opportunities and potential risk to business operations, including managing operational roadmaps, analyzing data and workflows to identify gaps, driving sustainable efficiencies, and facilitating change communications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience with SQL and Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
