We are seeking a Finance Manager with a strong finance and accounting background to provide support for Selling Partner Financial Tech (SPFT), which is part of the Selling Partner Services (SPS) organization. SPS are responsible for several key elements of Amazon's flywheel: which ensure low prices for our Customers, provide a rich tool kit for our Selling Partners to work with Amazon; drive traffic and increase conversion through replenishment and promotion programs; and drive profitability and controllership initiatives to lower our cost structure. SPFT's vision is to enable every Selling Partner to thrive and grow into a global selling success. We do this by providing a financial experience with unparalleled trust which delights all Selling Partners regardless of how they interact with Amazon. We support Selling Partners (SP) and internal customers across the globe with an intuitive end-to-end financial management experience, with reliable accounting and tax solutions, and financial technology services to accurately calculate, book and bill vendor funding.

You will be the finance leader for Vendor Funding and have a scope that is worldwide for our entire Retail business. You will work closely with senior business, tech, and finance leaders to identify opportunities to drive Retail growth and profitability. You will use your financial acumen to help business partners make key prioritization and investment decisions. You will be partnering with finance, accounting, and technical teams to connect dots across our entire Retail business to understand if financial trends match expectations. You will gain experience and help shape business and finance processes to drive the Amazon Retail business.

This role operates in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment, and the successful candidate must have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, which would include logical reasoning, data analytics and the presentation of alternatives. The successful candidate is required to have a knowledge of accounting principles, strong judgement, and ability to earn trust with partner teams. The individual is often required to challenge status quo, innovate and find trade-offs to move projects forward. The role requires curiosity, forward-thinking mindset, and good judgement to identify and mitigate financial reporting risks.
