Design Infrastructure Lead

Seeking a skilled Infrastructure Design Lead to manage and coordinate civil, installation, and cable routing design for major transit and rail infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical experience in rail systems who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Location: Oakland, CA (on-site/hybrid)
What You'll Do:

• Lead and coordinate infrastructure design efforts across multiple disciplines.
• Ensure all design documentation meets project specifications, local regulations, and technical standards.
• Act as a key liaison between engineering and construction teams, managing RFIs and field-driven modifications.
• Integrate designs with rail systems and technologies to ensure constructability and compliance.
• Use tools like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and interface management platforms to deliver high-quality design packages.

What We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years of infrastructure design experience in rail or large-scale transportation projects.
• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related technical field).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; Revit or 3D modeling experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design documentation, interface coordination, and regulatory standards.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
