Amplifon Americas, parent company to Miracle-Ear and Amplifon Hearing Healthcare, a global leader in hearing health care, has a demand for an authentic, creative, diverse and versatile candidate for our National Sales Leader (Senior Account Executive) role.
The National Sales Leader (Senior Account Executive) is responsible for building relationships and partnering with health plans in two key market areas: the Medicare Advantage market and the Medicare Supplement market. This highly visible role is ideal for someone who thrives in consultative, long-cycle sales. They are responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue growth and expand membership for the Amplifon Hearing Healthcare business segment. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, engaging with prospects through multiple channels (phone, trade shows, etc.), and working closely with health plans and clients to bring innovative solutions to the market.
The National Sales Leader will foster and nurture strong relationships with executives and other key stakeholders. They will serve as the primary client liaison, working closely with our internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that address prospective and existing client needs while promoting the Amplifon Hearing Healthcare value proposition. With a consultative and data-driven approach, you tell compelling stories that connect with decision-makers and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define an overall strategy on an annual basis to drive sales growth and secure new contracts across the Medicare Advantage market and the Medicare Supplement market
- Leverage, build and nurture trusted relationships with health plans and clients
- Lead full-cycle of new business development full-cycle from prospecting through contract signing
- Responsible for prospecting, initiating contact, leading RFPs and formal proposals, presenting, leading negotiations, and coordinating the decision-making process
- Use data and storytelling to craft persuasive sales narratives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless onboarding and service experience
Qualifications in this role include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 8-10 years in business development, outside sales, and/or B2B sales experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in the benefits, healthcare or insurance industry.
- 5+ years selling to health plans with existing relationships and a strong track record (required).
- Prior knowledge of hearing aid/healthcare markets is preferred but not required.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with heavily matrixed employers and unions
- Demonstrated ability to build and leverage relationships with consulting firms and insurance brokerage firms/agencies
- Strong interpersonal skills that allow working relationships with a wide range of associates and skill levels, both external and internal
- Excellent organizational skills and follow through
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Expertise with CRM Software (Salesforce preferred)
