FAME is seeking a strategic and innovative Chief Operations Officer (COO) to join the executive leadership team. Responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, providing leadership for Business, Education, Customer Service, and Operations teams, and driving innovation with the CEO and Senior Leadership. The COO will manage FAME's programs to support business finance and higher education, oversee policies and procedures, and ensure effective program delivery. In alignment with FAME's values, the COO is ultimately responsible for customer experience and in collaboration with senior leadership, ensures FAME delivers an exceptional customer/constituent experience. Additionally, they will review services, develop new programs as needed, and report program issues and achievements to the CEO and board of directors.

This position is a full-time permanent role with benefits.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree with significant finance, business and/or marketing courses taken. Master of Business Administration or other advanced degree/license in public administration/policy, marketing, finance or investments, preferred (or an appropriate combination of education and work experience).
  • Minimum of ten (10) years related work experience in areas of business leadership, strategic planning, and corporate finance.
  • Demonstrated new business, product ownership and product development skills.
  • Demonstrated project management and strategic thinking skills are required.
  • Proven understanding of managing projects, new product development and launch, and developing strategic plans.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through different departments or divisions of the organization.
  • Effective skills in collaboration, interpersonal relations, oral and written communication.
  • Must possess a positive, achievement-oriented attitude to build strong relationships with all clients, partners, state agencies and staff.
  • Strong computer, time management and problem-solving skills are required. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.


Salary Description

$140,000 - $180,000 annually
