- Position: Regional Manager (with Sales Focus) - Flatbed Division
- Location: Current operating footprint in or between Portsmouth, NH and Washingtonville, PA
- Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 Per Year
- Schedule: Full time, Exempt
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility in hours and work availability are required based on the needs of the company and will include "on call" responsibility.

Penn Tank Lines is seeking a Regional Manager to manage and grow our flatbed terminal operations, which currently operates out of Portsmouth, NH and Washingtonville, PA. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including Terminal Performance Management, P&L Management, Compliance Management, Customer Relations, Staffing, Cost Optimization. This position combines leadership and strategic oversight with a focus on growing the flatbed division's market share.
Responsibilities of our Regional Manager - Flatbed Division:
- Promotes and enhances the company's vision, core values, and strategies.
- Ensures efficient operation of assigned terminals by analyzing operational costs and ensuring data integrity.
- Has profit and loss responsibility for terminal operations within assigned geographical area.
- Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial and operations reports to determine requirements for increasing profits and improving processes.
- Ensures ongoing development of assigned region's terminal leadership and management skills in the support of company objectives.
- Ensures compliance in all company policies and procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.
- Works closely with Sales Team to execute a regional sales strategy to increase market share for flatbed services.
- Assists with identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients within the region.
- Works closely with the Risk Management team to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and to adopt practices to ensure acceptable CSA ratings.
- Communicates regularly with Maintenance leadership to ensure equipment efficiency and reduce out-of-service rates.
- Conducts regular operational meetings with terminal management to review successes, challenges, and company strategy.
- Regularly participates in executive, management, and departmental meetings.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- This position requires extensive regular travel within the assigned region (up to approximately 50%), and to the company's corporate office at least quarterly.
Requirements of our Regional Manager - Flatbed Division:
- Experience may be considered in lieu of college degree.
- Minimum of five years of experience in flatbed terminal operations management.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth within the flatbed transportation industry.
