What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy in collaboration with and under the oversight of the Chief Revenue Officer, ensuring alignment with company goals and market dynamics.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, including Regional Sales Managers and Venue Sales Specialists.
- Design and execute effective onboarding, training, and coaching programs to enhance sales skills and performance.
- Standardize and elevate the discovery and booking process to ensure a consistent and exceptional client experience.
- Analyze sales performance data and KPIs to drive accountability, forecast revenue, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations, to align efforts and optimize the lead-to-close journey.
- Champion the adoption and effective use of CRM systems and sales enablement tools to support scalable and data-driven selling.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and customer expectations to guide innovation in sales approaches and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership, preferably in hospitality or healthcare, event management, or related industries.
- Proven track record of leading and developing geographically dispersed sales teams and driving measurable revenue growth.
- Strong background in sales training, enablement, and performance management.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive performance and decision-making.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, TripleSeat) and sales reporting tools.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 15lbs and walking/standing for 8-12 hours
- Submit to a background check, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Schedule:
- Full-time, Flexible Schedule: must be available to work on weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
- $150,000 Base + Bonus ($180k - $190k OTE)
