Job Description
The Director, Commercial Finance NA House of Rohl (HofR) is the key finance business partner to the Vice President, NA Sales and will manage and lead all commercial related activities with a focus on driving operational excellence and driving above market growth of luxury Plumbing and Hardware 7 brands including ROHL, Riobel, P&R, Shaws, V+A, EMTEK, and Schaub. This role will also play a pivotal role setting up Sales Effectiveness strategy and execution and be the key contact for the FP&A team into the business units and reports to the Vice President, Global House of Rohl Finance.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $140,000 USD - $220,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will be doing
- Develop a deep understanding of the market and customer trends to help drive proactive actionable insights into the business to help influence strategy and drive long-term shareholder value.
- Be the primary business partner to the NA House of Rohl sales organization by providing financial guidance, and insights to ultimately measure and enhance performance.
- Own the development and execution of the consolidated annual operating and sales planning process.
- Be the key connection point from FP&A into the BU finance team and own the oversight and consolidation of the annual strategic planning process.
- Key business partner to help develop, execute and drive the e-commerce strategic growth plan in coordination with the overall NA House of Rohl strategy.
- Develop deep understanding of customer gross to net programs, oversee gross to net calculation and accuracy within GAAP, and partner with sales to optimize spending.
- Manage and continuously improve down channel reporting received from external customers, ensuring we provide proactive actionable insights to sales leadership and other key business partners.
- Manage and ensure accuracy of all commission reporting, monthly and quarterly sales reporting and other ad-hoc analysis for the segment.
- Develop sales effectiveness measurements framework to drive return on sales force and support, e.g., merchandising investments.
- Partner with business intelligence team to ensure accuracy in dashboards and reporting to drive improvement opportunities, automation, & enhancements to manage performance.
- Leads a team and develops finance talent by providing work direction, timely feedback, annual performance assessments, coaching, mentoring and career development planning and opportunities.
- Additional projects as assigned by VP Finance, Global House of Rohl Finance and/or key Global House of Rohl leadership team members.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Science, etc.) is required
- 10+ years of relevant financial experience, preferably in branded manufactured goods or fast-moving consumer goods industry
- 5+ years of management experience required
- Must possess strong communication (oral and written) and analytical skills with ability to communicate detailed analysis into relevant, clear, and concise information leading to actionable initiatives.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, financial modeling, investment evaluation, and cost optimization strategies.
- Experience using data in decision-making and identifying trends.
- Ability to influence others in a highly cross-functional and matrix environment.
- Proficiency with Excel modeling and data management as well as PowerPoint.
- Strong financial acumen, broad business skill set and strong strategic thinking capabilities.
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience managing and developing finance talent.
- Highly articulate and can communicate effectively with various levels in an organization including senior leaders.
- Process Improvement driven mindset & innate curiosity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, CPA and/or CMA
- Knowledge of SAP and Oracle (EMP)
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Anaplan, Power BI) and financial modeling software.
