About the Role
As a Project Manager - Electrical Estimator at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in estimating, designing, and managing NEC-compliant electrical projects ranging from $1 million to $6 million. This position requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a client-focused mindset, and offers the opportunity to directly influence project profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
You will collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of electrical construction projects while maintaining safety, ethics, and performance standards. This is a full-time, onsite role with regular travel to construction sites across multiple states.

What You'll Do
Estimates, designs, and manages high-value NEC-compliant electrical projects, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
Develops and maintains strong client relationships to drive repeat business and trusted partnerships
Identifies customer needs and delivers NEC-compliant solutions aligned with current and future electrical requirements
Communicates effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and engineers to align project goals and timelines
Performs accurate, timely estimates using Procore and presents comprehensive proposals
Prepares and submits load calculations, drawings, and related documentation for AHJ approval as required
Negotiates with clients and suppliers to ensure fair outcomes and cost-effective solutions
Oversees all project elements including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor oversight, and quality control
Ensures compliance with Z-Modular Power safety and quality standards while upholding ethical conduct
Who You Are
5+ years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in commercial/industrial construction
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent trade/associate degree with relevant experience)
NEC Certification or deep working knowledge of NEC code
Procore Certification, PMP, or OSHA 30 preferred
Proficient in estimating, budgeting, cost control, and construction documentation
Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, project lifecycle management, and compliance standards
Experienced in interpreting drawings, securing AHJ approvals, and managing regulatory submissions
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Regular travel to project sites is required

Below is the expected base salary range for this position. This is a good-faith estimate, and offers will be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and interview performance.
Additional compensation may include:
