Lonza is looking for a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to join our tax team! You will apply your expertise in global projects to align transfer pricing policies with business and regulatory changes, through application of the OECD guidelines and US specific regulations. Furthermore, the role will support transfer pricing controversy (tax audits, APAs, MAPs) in coordination with local/regional tax colleagues.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to adapt transfer pricing policies in line with business changes.
  • Prepare sophisticated financial analyses and models to support tax decisions.
  • Handle and lead projects, identifying all vital steps from start to finish and coordinating with various collaborators, including finance teams.
  • Lead APAs, audits, and MAPs, applying your strong technical skills with support from external experts and business/finance colleagues.
  • Collaborate closely with other transfer pricing team members to guarantee optimal performance of the transfer pricing team.


Key requirements:

  • Master degree in Economics, (Tax) Law, or Finance
  • Confirmed experience in transfer pricing planning projects, in particular on value chain analysis/changes and (ideally) in litigation.
  • Solid understanding of transfer pricing rules as per OECD guidelines and US specific regulations;
  • Outstanding analytical skills, with the ability to prepare and interpret financial analyses and models, relating those to qualitative tax analysis.
  • Proven track record to optimally lead and handle projects, ensuring detailed execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of conveying intricate transfer pricing concepts to a diverse audience in a clear and simplified manner.
  • Ability to handle external service providers efficiently, ensuring strict adherence to resources and priorities.
