Reporting tot the Director, the Associate Director (AD) leads and oversees SIRR/IRRBB globally through risk measurements to ensure business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. They will manage the monthly and weekly production of SIRR GAP, NII, EVE, KRDs, Stress Testing under B12 (IRRBB) to ensure that SIRR position and exposure of the Bank has been correctly identified and explained, and that all methodologies, embedded options and hedging strategies are being consistently identified and measured.
The Associate Director (AD) will play the leading role in data science to support data-driven decision in ALM/SIRR through data collection/preparation, data analysis & visualization, model development and reporting. They will lead the integration of modern technology to explore and implement cloud-based solutions to enhance scalability, flexibility and efficiency of ALM function; Develop and maintain SIRR/IRRBB central report flatform development and maintenance through Power BI, Python & other AI tools, to provide timely and sophisticated SIRR/IRRBB management report and analysis to the executives and the SIRR stakeholders.
Additionally the AD manages RDARR related, JIRA process and other BAU IT items, and is responsible for further development on data enhancement and improvement to capture product changes, system conversion/migration and other strategic/regulatory initiatives for SIRR/IRRBB.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain the SIRR/IRRBB central sophisticated report/information platform through Power BI, Python, cloud-solutions, and other AI tools/technologies to ensure a timely and accurate report and analysis being shared with executives and other IRRBB stakeholders.
- Ensure best practices in SIRR/IRRBB techniques and functionalities available within software applications to identify opportunities to improve the existing techniques, analysis and processes.
- Provide performance & functionality assessments on the applications currently used by ALM; Provide on-going research and suggestions on application development and/or application alternatives to ensure the applications in production is meeting ALM business requirements and new regulatory and business initiatives.
- Work with current vendor (FIS) and/or prospective vendors on system conversion, upgrade, functionality & performance assessment and improvement to ensure applications in ALM production incorporating the up-to-date technology.
- Provide ongoing automation solutions to the ALM end-to-end reporting and analysis process.
- Provide training to the team to fast adopt modern technology and tools such as python and Power BI, to automate routine, to keep the team at the forefront of the technology and efficiency.
- Explore and drive initiatives to adopt AI-driven, machine learning algorithms and cloud-solution to enhance ALM analytic system and model.
- Assist other ADs of the ALM team in monthly/weekly production of GAP, NII, EVE, KRDs, interest margin and variance analysis & commentary, Stress Testing under B12 (IRRBB) as well as the Note Disclosure reporting relating to Structural Interest Rate Risk, Contractual Maturity Gap and FMV disclosures.
- Maintain an effective system of internal controls over the ALM reporting process, identifying and documenting the risks and controls of key processes.
- Participate various projects to provide supports to incorporate new regulatory requirements and market/industrial change into SIRR/IRRBB and BSM measurement, analysis and reporting.
- Ensure all documentation is maintained up-to-date and reflective of all existing processes and methodologies.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Undergraduate University degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or Computer Science
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in data science including data management and data analysis & visualization
- Advanced level skills in programing (e.g. Python, SQL, SAS)
- Proficiency in data management applications (Power BI, Tableau), SQL
- Advanced skills and experience in data modelling and analytics
- Knowledge in ALM Tools as an assess (e.g. BancWare, QRM)
- Logical Thinker with excellent analytical skills
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task, attain deadlines, perform well under pressure, and change priorities as needed
