Safety Group / Commercial Account Executive Unit Manager

Description : Ultimately will be responsible for the daily management of four account executives handling specialized workers compensation safety groups. Primary responsibility includes control of the planning, organizing, staffing and operating activities of the commercial lines department, while creating sales, service and quality standards. Responsible for overall management and direct supervision of the department. Resolve all personnel matters in the manner that is mutually beneficial to the agency and the individual. Promote open communication and good morale. Develop, implement and monitor the training of the commercial lines support staff as well as selection of new commercial lines staff. Requirements : Commercial lines/workers compensation product knowledge and risk management expertise. Must be organized with demonstrated leadership skills for effective communication in both verbal and written, with the ability to influence others. Should have Brokers license and at least 5 years experience in commercial lines with a multi-line insurance agency or brokerage operation. College degree preferred. CIC or CPCU designation desirable. May be required to step in and oversee personal lines department of 4, as well. Must be able to quote! Knowledge of Applied/EPIC a plus.
