Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution
    • Lead daily field operations, develop pre-plans and maintain updated project schedules.
    • Manage subcontractors, materials, logistics, and equipment usage on-site.
    • Ensure full compliance with design documents, specifications, and safety standards.
    • Utilize digital tools like Procore to document daily activities, field changes, inspections, and toolbox talks.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor foremen and field crews, driving a culture of safety and accountability.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and compliance-focused safety/training talks.
    • Promote consistent performance, morale, and development throughout the team.
  • Financial & Cost Controls
    • Support budget adherence by documenting change events and proactively managing costs.
    • Ensure all labor hours, equipment usage, and material deliveries are tracked and documented.
    • Collaborate with PMs to streamline cost reporting and prevent overruns.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Act as the field point of contact for owners, architects, and project stakeholders.
    • Host and document weekly site meetings and stakeholder updates.
    • Communicate site conditions, progress updates, inspection results, and delays in real-time.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Maximize equipment use and team productivity with forward planning.
    • Lead the execution of punch list closeouts, ensuring readiness before handover.
    • Maintain all reporting forms and site logs as required for quality assurance and compliance.
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance
    • Maintain a job site culture of safety awareness, inspection readiness, and training compliance.
    • Conduct weekly toolbox talks, safety checks, and audits; respond swiftly to incidents or hazards.
    • Ensure site aligns with OSHA 30 standards and Poli's own high safety expectations.


Key Metrics for Success
  • Project Milestones: >95% on-time milestone delivery
  • Daily Reporting: 100% daily report compliance (scope, visitors, hours, inspections, etc.)
  • Inspection Success Rate: >95% passed on first attempt
  • Team Engagement: >80% positive feedback from weekly team pulse checks
  • Budget Management: >95% accuracy in cost tracking and change event documentation
  • Client Satisfaction: >8/10 average client rating
  • Operational Impact: 100% punch list completion prior to project close
  • Strategic Execution: 85% completion of quarterly initiatives (rocks)


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent technical experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role
  • Expert-level knowledge of field operations, construction disciplines, safety standards, and project scheduling
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, MS Project, and Procore
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet jobsite security/badging requirements
