As a Computer Engineer III, you will design, develop, integrate, and test VME based control system software for advanced machinery, collaborating with engineering teams to deliver robust and secure solutions.

- Troubleshoot, integrate, and test Versa Module Euro (VME) control system software.
- Design and implement software solutions based on technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain software in C++, C#, and Ada.
- Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Git) throughout the development lifecycle.
- Install and configure VME based control system software on target hardware.
- Integrate controllers and sensors (4-20 mA, 0-10 V) with software systems.
- Maintain and configure Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity requirements, supporting IT infrastructure and network security tasks.
- Document development processes and participate in agile workflows using Jira and Confluence.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related ABET accredited program.
- 3+ years of professional experience in C++ and C# development.
- 3+ years of VME software development using ROSE based control language.
- 3+ years using Git for configuration management.
- 1+ year of hands on experience with control systems integration and testing.
- Active or transferable Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Experience with VPX (VITA 46) control systems.
- Experience in defense or regulated industrial environments.
- Knowledge of database query languages and scripting.
- Familiarity with machinery plant equipment integration (e.g., 400 Hz power systems).
- Experience with Ada programming and virtual path cross connect technologies.
- VME, VPX (VITA 46), ROSE based control language, Modbus interfaces.
- C++, C#, Ada, Git, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
- Windows and Linux operating systems, network security frameworks.
