Description:
Act in a senior capacity to support the day-to-day functions of the assigned Health, Safety and Environment Department. Provide health, safety, and environmental management support to offshore and onshore activities. Liaise with all support departments and vendors to support continual improvement with regard to health, safety and environmental performance.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Five years' relevant experience in the energy industry with experience in maintaining a world-class HSE infrastructure and system.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements affecting operations, e.g. UK HSE, NOPSEMA, PSA, NORSOK, DWEA, ISM, ISPS and others as applicable to assigned area of operation.
- Expert knowledge of health, safety and environmental management system dynamics.
- Expert in risk management, safety cases, bowties, safety and environmentally critical tasks and equipment and emergency response
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of technical knowledge and capability and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of people - from corporate leadership, hemisphere managers, field employees, government regulatory personnel and customers.
- Excellent communications skills, oral and written.
- Must possess a high level of integrity in all situations.
- Travel as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Reports directly to the HSE Manager and supports day to day operations and strategic HSE objectives as directed
- Will, guide, mentor and supervise all HSE Supervisors within operations and projects
- Serve operations management as an expert in process safety, risk management, barrier management and SECE philosophies
- Act as focal point for all customer tenders, clarifications and distribute throughout team as applicable
- Responsible for implementation of HSE performance metrics with customers, internal and external performance reviews of goals and objectives
- Ensure HSE Cases are maintained with up to date information and provide barrier management and safety critical task support
- Serve as a Team Leader and expert during Noble Incident Investigations
- Lead, facilitate and participate in onshore major accident emergency response management across the hemisphere
- Liaise internally and externally regarding HSE regulatory issues.
- Support onshore and offshore management with assurance and compliance to Noble policies and procedures.
- Act as a point of contact and source of expertise for HSE related inquiries.
- Identify, support, and implement HSE training programs as required across the hemisphere.
- Maintain close and trusting relationships with business unit management.
- Monitor internal and external conditions which offer opportunities for improvement and distribute information in the form of HSE alerts and notices within the region.
- Monitor HSE Management System effectiveness and provide input to the HSE Manager.
- Represent Noble with customers as required.
- Represent Noble on industry committees and projects as directed by the HSE Manager.
- Support and facilitate case management of injuries and illnesses across the hemisphere and ensure accurate and timely reporting to Corporate Claims and in line with IADC reporting requirements.
