What You Will Do
- Database Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and optimize SQL databases to support various applications, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse software systems, facilitating seamless data flow across platforms.
- Financial Systems Support: Develop and maintain financial and accounting software solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Viewpoint Vista Customization: Customize and enhance Viewpoint Vista functionalities to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Reporting and Analytics: Create and manage reports using tools like Crystal Reports and SSRS, providing stakeholders with actionable insights.
- Documentation and Training: Document development processes and provide training to end-users on new applications and system features.
What You Will Need to be Successful
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience as a SQL Developer, ideally with a focus on applications in the construction industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, and experience with database design and optimization. Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista is highly desirable.
- Integration Expertise: Experience with system integration methodologies and tools, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications.
- Reporting Tools: Proficiency in Crystal Reports, SSRS, and similar reporting tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with financial and accounting systems within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C# or .NET.
- Work Environment: This position is primarily a remote position. Some project-based travel may be required.
