Location: NYC, Midtown or CHICAGO, Downtown - This is a hybrid role and requires 4 days a week in office
Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000
About this role:
The Group Account Director (HCP) is responsible for leading the global production of digital, print, and web marketing projects, including campaigns and content, specifically tailored to healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the full suite of over the counter (OTC) products for our high-profile client. This is a global agency-side role with a strong account management foundation, focused on fostering client partnerships and delivering high-quality HCP marketing content at scale. This role will work with multiple global teams functioning as one to ensure content production speed, quality, and efficiency, while partnering closely with specialist agencies to develop core campaign and content assets.
This position blends strategic leadership, client relationship management, and team oversight. It requires significant agency experience to drive the health and growth of client partnerships and to oversee the delivery of HCP-focused marketing content. Collaboration with marketing partners, other client category leads, and specialist agency teams is critical to success.

Responsibilities
- Client Satisfaction: Responsible for client satisfaction within and across HCP content production for OTC products globally.
- Support Global Lead and client by developing and delivering holistic campaigns, innovative projects, and provide advice regarding change management
- Share passion for and have proven experience in healthcare, particularly in OTC products and HCP-focused content for tactics like sales aids, rep triggered email, congress materials, and patient guides, etc.
- Financial/budgetary management: partnering with PMO and account members, managing scope, budget and revenue target growth goals as required by leadership
- Drive to deliver innovation and effective application of technologies
- Oversee and manage continued improvement in processes, deliverables and efficiencies
- Support a strong use of data for optimization (effectiveness and efficiency)
- Build and manage a team by driving delivery efforts based upon a culture of excellence, respect and craft with profitability as the result
- Create respected partnerships with creative and media agencies with confidence and intent to gain trust and encourage strategic outputs
- Wear many hats while giving team members autonomy and support
- Demonstrate progressive management experience in a marketing/production/content development environment
Qualifications:
- 7 to 10 years in Account Management and Production experience in an advertising/marketing/content agency
- 5 + years of healthcare industry expertise specifically HCP and OTC brands
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with internal teams and external clients
- Ability to handle high pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
- Budgeting and forecasting, commercial and financial acumen
- Global or multi-regional experience is preferred
- Drive to deliver innovation and effective application of technologies
- Ability to drive high volume projects

- Lead the successful ongoing development of a new HCP content production model
- Earn senior client lead respect as a valued advisor
- Create and deepen client relationships globally and across regions

- Ensure clarity of responsibilities with other agency partners, and strong working partnerships. In short, lead the team such that a client word cloud, gathered from across the full client team, would include the following words ...
