Job Description
We currently have an opening for a Project Engineer in the Bridge Management Group in our Edmonton office. The successful candidate will have experience in designing and delivering bridge and culvert projects for municipal clients. You will lead with a forward-thinking approach that helps our clients solve problems and promotes the team's development. You will provide technical expertise and project management on transportation projects for public and private sector clients with a focus on bridges and culverts.

Your responsibilities will include:
Leading designs for the replacement or rehabilitation of standard/major bridges, culverts and pedestrian bridges.
Managing teams in the analysis, design, evaluation and preparation of drawings and contract documents.
Advancing projects through the planning, concept, design, and construction phases.
Preparing technical reports, modelling and design calculations
Providing guidance, including mentoring, and instruction, to junior staff.
Engaging in a collaborative work environment with your team as well as other disciplines and offices.
Job Requirements
What you will bring:
Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
6+ years of progressive experience in bridge engineering within the consulting industry.
Experience working Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to travel throughout Alberta.
Education
Post-Secondary Diploma
