Position Summary

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for directing the production operations function to ensure a successful and safe manufacturing process. They will guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring and coaching employees and organizing workflows. Key to their success is comprehending complex operations with the goal of ensuring the production processes are safe and deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner for our customers and patients.

Note that this position will be on 3rd shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervises individual contributors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.
  • Assists with the coordination of processes and assignments for individual contributors to ensure consistent delivery of work products.
  • Coordinates scheduled trials and operational plans for effective launch of new products and packaging processes.
  • Ensures that production issues are addressed and that work orders are completed and corrected in a timely manner.
  • Maintains steady workflow and productivity and resolves operational decisions within the team.
  • Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards.
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.


Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent and four years' work experience in manufacturing or a related/supporting function.
  • At least two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Ability to set effective and challenging objectives for self and others
  • Ability to motivate others to achieve goals
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate requirements, needs and changes to both associates and management
  • Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners to achieve common goals

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is preferred.
  • Experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing Experience is preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The anticipated base salary for this position is 77,000 to 124,200. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
