Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analytics Manager to lead the completion and optimization of our data warehouse at Sectigo. This is a global role that will oversee data integration, transformation, and visualization efforts to drive business insights and improve decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data architecture, business intelligence, and analytics platforms. Additionally, this position will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of data professionals to ensure the successful execution of data initiatives.
This is a full-time position working in the hybrid model and at least 3 days a week from our Ottawa office, reporting to our Chief Information Officer.

Additionally, this position will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of data professionals to ensure the successful execution of data initiatives.

Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:
- Lead the design, development, and completion of the company's data warehouse utilizing Snowflake, FiveTran, and Sigma Computing.
- Oversee ETL/ELT processes and ensure seamless data integration across multiple sources.
- Manage and mentor a global team of data engineers and analysts, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data models, pipelines, and reporting structures.
- Implement and operationalize AI-driven data processing and analytics techniques to create predictive analytics models to support business forecasting and decision-making.
- Optimize data storage, processing, and query performance within Snowflake to ensure efficient analytics operations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security while adhering to compliance and governance standards.
- Develop and implement data visualization strategies using Sigma Computing to provide actionable business insights.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Maintain and enhance documentation for data architecture, processes, and best practices.
- Manage the operational aspects of the data warehouse, including monitoring data loads, troubleshooting failures, and optimizing system performance.
- Ensure data warehouse uptime, reliability, and scalability to support business needs.
- Implement and maintain data governance policies and access controls to protect sensitive information.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end users on data access, reporting tools, and analytics best practices.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, WebTrust and other data regulations.
- Other duties as assigned and related to the nature of this role and company initiatives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is strongly recommended.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, AI or data engineering roles.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience leading a team in a data-related role.
Travel Requirement:
- Travel up to 25% domestic and/or international is required.
Ideal Candidate Profiles, Talents, and Desired Qualifications:
- Proven expertise with Snowflake for data warehousing and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of FiveTran for data ingestion and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Experience with Sigma Computing or similar business intelligence platforms for dashboarding and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
- Proficiency with CI/CD process in a data warehouse environment utilizing Github.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and transformation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a global, fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
