THE JOB:
The Sr. Inventory Control Manager oversees daily inventory operations and team performance across MGM Resorts' Las Vegas properties. This includes ensuring accurate receiving, reporting, scanning, and maintenance of inventory data-especially in areas like food & beverage cost of goods sold (COGS). You'll also develop and implement operational procedures and KPIs to drive efficiency, partnering closely with property and corporate teams.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Lead daily operations for the Inventory Management team, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across all assigned areas.
  • Oversee tasks such as PO receiving, inventory counts, par level reviews, recipe management, requisition updates, and invoice scanning.
  • Collaborate with corporate and property-level partners to support inventory valuation and month-end financial close.
  • Guide and develop Inventory Management Supervisors, Specialists, and Count Team members across properties.
  • Manage centralized warehouse demand planning with Warehouse Managers and Centers of Excellence.
  • Resolve inventory issues and address employee, customer, or supplier concerns as they arise.
  • Support HR responsibilities for the team-hiring, coaching, succession planning, and fostering an inclusive, respectful environment.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant supply chain experience is required.
  • Experience with inventory systems such as Stratton Warren or Coupa is a plus.
  • Background in a resort or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple resort properties.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Performs other job-related duties as requested.
