Thought Leadership & Social Content Director
Apply NowCompany: DocuSign
Location: San Francisco, CA 94112
Description:
Company Overview
Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people's lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).
What you'll do
As Director of Thought Leadership & Social Content, you will be responsible for driving - and creating - thought leadership and social content for a myriad of channels, partnering with our executive leaders to build their social and media profiles.
The successful candidate is scrappy with a renaissance mind. You understand when a moment calls for deep thought leadership content, or fun/authentic social trend content, and can deftly navigate between creating content for both. You'll be deeply invested in social conversation as it pertains to areas relevant to Docusign's business including, but not limited to, AI, contract platforms, and SaaS trends. You'll partner with the Director of Organic Social who manages Docusign's social channels, developing a fresh social voice and POV that aligns with the new Docusign brand, leveraging authentic social trends where it makes sense, and driving toward the business outcomes that explain and demonstrate the value of intelligent agreement management.
Docusign is at an exciting inflection point - we're expanding beyond e-signature and want to explain to stakeholders in all parts of business the value that comes from Docusign Intelligent Agreement Management. To help in this effort, you'll need to be able to create proactive social content for the different personas we're trying to reach, closely follow news, conversation, and social trends to assess which platforms and tactics are best for which audiences, and effectively explain those stories to grow and engage the right audiences. You'll be working with executives and practitioners across the company, surfacing the best stories and product value to share, and devising the best way to earn share of voice in the social space.
A bit about you: You have great judgment, an authentic voice, and know when to deploy it. You're creative and are a voracious learner of new creative storytelling techniques. You love picking up a camera to tell a story. You're well-versed in the ways of social on all platforms (LinkedIn included). You love to dig into all aspects of the work. You'll need to be able to seek out information to support business goals, distill what you've found, create social strategies, draft narratives and plans, and then execute - including holding the camera to capture content when the need arises. To succeed, you'll be proactive, organized, and able to thrive in a matrixed environment. You have strong writing skills, but you love a good edit. You enjoy the challenge a tight deadline brings and have the wit and scrappiness to meet it. You love to get into the weeds and help tell a story. You are flexible in the face of change. You get joy from growing an enterprise that helps businesses and people be successful. You bring top-tier emotional intelligence and a sense of humor to all you do.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, Corporate Communications.
