For more than 11 years, Amazon Web Services ("AWS") has been the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. AWS offers over 150 fully featured services to millions of active customers around the world-including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies-to power their infrastructure. The Amazon Global Sales team is a group that supports the Tech roles. We enable these AWS technical teams to better serve our customers in their journey on the cloud.

We are seeking a customer-obsessed Strategic Engagement Professional to support the Solution Architect (SA) and Customer Solution Manager (CSM) teams within AGS Tech. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious with a knack for creating repeatable frameworks that enhance information sharing across global teams. This person earns trust through performance, has strong strategic planning skills, and can establish systems that scale across geographic regions. This position is responsible for deploying the programs and engagement mechanisms that support team culture and development while ensuring consistency across the organization. The position partners with leadership and key stakeholders (including marketing, recruiting, human resources, enablement and operations teams) to find areas to improve team efficiency and optimize previously defined processes.

Key job responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage the strategic communications processes for the organization, including quarterly town hall meetings, newsletters, awards recognition programs, and in-person leadership meetings.

- Partner with engagement and content managers to create consistent practices that enhance information sharing and knowledge transfer between teams

- Own the knowledge bases for the organization and continually improve the adoption and content to best meet the needs of our customers, including management of Wikis, SharePoint, and standard documentation

- Establish systems for repurposing information across multiple channels to maximize impact and efficiency

- Partner with Marketing and Recruiting to execute the team branding across team materials, recruiting efforts and marketing campaigns

- Partner with the workforce development programs to execute programs, such as TechU, Interns and the Military Apprenticeship programs

- Partner with the technical productivity and enablement teams to assist and optimize the new hire on-boarding experience

- Build mechanisms to track and share customer success stories and technical innovations across the organization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

- 3+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

- Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
