Must-Have: Proficiency with Siemens equipment

Description:
Performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scan images.
Produces quality computed tomography exam images and exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
Provides patient care and initiates life support measures as necessary.
Interacts effectively with patients, physicians, family members, department staff, and healthcare workers.
Possesses the skills and knowledge to operate CT equipment to produce quality CT scans.
Has the ability to perform related procedures and protocols.
Possesses the ability to professionally obtain information from patients or their responsible parties to further improve their personalized treatment and care.
Works well with all age groups.
May include on-call rotation, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Performs CT-related tasks and is aware of general CT protocols.
Imaging hospital and clinic patients with required post-processing of images.
Assigned shifts include weekends with call responsibilities.
Equipment utilized in the unit includes Toshiba Aquilion One, Siemens Definition Edge, Vital Fx Workstation, Tera Recon, SyngoVia.
EMR: EPIC/Radiant
PACS: McKesson
Knowledge required in CT Scanners, Cross Sectional Anatomy and Physiology, 3D Post Processing for Ortho, Vascular, Cardiac, and Neuro.
Knowledge of various post-processing techniques.
Shift or schedule requirements include weekend calls as needed, Monday to Friday with varying day and evening shifts, and 12-hour weekend shifts as assigned.
Floating to other units or departments is not required.
This is a 200-bed Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Center.
The unit/department offers a two-week orientation process.
Please note that local candidates are not accepted, and candidates must reside more than 80 miles away from the facility.
