As the SVP, Investment Products and Platform you will be focused on the Investment Products and Platform Strategy and will be a strategic leader, driving the evolution of our investment offering to our partner community. With deep expertise in investment products, portfolio management, public and private markets, you will shape our investment platform strategy ensuring we have a complete offering to meet the needs of financial advisors and their clients.
You will collaborate closely with our Marketing and Product teams while defining the investment value story and ensuring our products deliver measurable value to advisors and clients.

As the SVP, Investment Products and Platform you will be focused on the Investment Products and Platform Strategy and will be a strategic leader, driving the evolution of our investment offering to our partner community. With deep expertise in investment products, portfolio management, public and private markets, you will shape our investment platform strategy ensuring we have a complete offering to meet the needs of financial advisors and their clients.
You will collaborate closely with our Marketing and Product teams while defining the investment value story and ensuring our products deliver measurable value to advisors and clients.
What To Expect
- Plan expansion of the Investment Platform: Lead discovery efforts, identifying pain points, validating assumptions, and uncovering opportunities to enhance the investment platform and product solution set. Using your knowledge of available solutions in the marketplace, find and onboard products that adequately meet the needs of advisors and their clients.
- Lead a high-profile, high-performance team of market strategists and portfolio managers. Ensure Carson talent is being utilized for the highest-value engagements. Partner with marketing to craft and effectively tell the Carson value proposition story to prospects and partners.
- Own the Carson perspective on investment solutions for advisors, creating thought-leadership showcasing the right solutions and solves for client scenarios (cash products, lending, alternatives, direct indexing, private credit, income-driven portfolios, SMAs etc.)
- Collaborate with our Head of Private Client and our Chief Tax Strategist to ensure that the Investment Platform can support the needs of our high-net-worth clients as well as our tax-focused investment strategy.
- Create and own Investment Team KPIs and relevant executive reporting about the investment platform and product impact and adoption. Closely monitor KPIs and product performance. Identify areas responsible for accelerated advisor growth and prioritize focus to those areas. Identify areas of weakness and off-board products and solutions that are not contributing to growth.
- Ensure that the teams' points of view are reflected throughout our investment strategies.
- Oversee budget management and hold accountability for P&L performance, establishing and tracking key metrics to drive growth, profitability, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Investments and Compliance teams, proactively ensuring all investment products, partnerships, and strategies adhere to regulatory guidelines, mitigating compliance risks, and safeguarding the firm's reputation.
- Find and foster strategic partnerships with asset managers, with an eye toward creating additional value for the Carson enterprise.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on investment platform, products, and solutions, influencing go-to-market strategy and product positioning.
What You Need
- 10+ years of experience in investments, research, and advisor-facing product management.
- 10+ years of managing a high-performing team of experts
- Proven expertise in client portfolio management, markets, and investment products.
- Strong understanding of investment data, performance reporting, risk management, and tax-aware trading strategies.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving change, and influencing cross-functional teams.
Preferred Education and Experience
- CFA or CFP designation preferred
