CDFW is hiring a Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) to join the Cannabis Watershed Enforcement Program within the Office of Cannabis. The AGPA will perform the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical assignments on a broad range of enforcement, environmental assessment, and remediation initiatives and projects. Additionally, the AGPA will lead internal and external stakeholder coordination to increase program transparency and cross-divisional collaboration, including data collection, analysis and sharing. Working Conditions
The position requires the use of a computer for several hours each day, the completion of office tasks that require sitting, standing, and walking to other locations; attendance at meetings and participation in conference calls. Office and field work may require a uniform. Enforcement program observations requires hiking and walking over adverse terrain and in inclement weather or heat.

Up to 5% travel is required within the state of California via private or public transportation (i.e., automobile, airplane, etc.). Travel may include multiple day overnight stay up to seven (7) days dependent upon departmental need.

This position offers the possibility of an office-centered telework agreement based on the Department's current Telework Policy.

Special Requirements This position is in support of a statewide program. Physical requirements may involve observing operations in the field throughout the state to better understand and support field operations. This may involve hiking and walking in the state's various environments.
