Broadridge is hiring! We're seeking a Senior Cloud Architect role to join our stellar team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud solutions predominantly on the AWS platform. This role exists to leverage deep expertise in cloud infrastructures to enhance system performance, ensure robust security, and facilitate seamless integration of cloud services with enterprise applications. By leading strategic initiatives and streamlining processes, the Senior Cloud Architect accelerates cloud adoption and ensures the organization remains at the forefront of cloud technology innovation and efficiency.

We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and will work both on-site and remote

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with development teams, and other stakeholders to design and implement resilient, scalable, and secure cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Streamline processes and develop best practices to enable and accelerate greater cloud adoption across the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption.
  • Architect and maintain container platforms, ensuring efficient orchestration and management within cloud environments.
  • Document and diagram complex cloud systems and architectures clearly, providing technical guidance and training to internal stakeholders and teams.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, enabling automated and consistent deployment of cloud resources.
  • Lead cloud cost management efforts, implementing strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce unnecessary expenses.


Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 to 5 years focused specifically on cloud computing and architecture, particularly using AWS. This experience should include a proven track record of designing and implementing cloud solutions, working with infrastructure as code, containerization, and applying cloud security best practices.
  • Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and Certified Kubernetes Administrator are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, EFS, S3, RDS, and VPCs.
  • Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure automation, with a strong understanding of infrastructure as code principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of container platforms, particularly Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and other critical platform capabilities (Service Mesh, Persistent Storage/Backups, etc).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Eagerness to stay informed of the latest industry trends and AWS service updates to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency enhancements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $150,000 - $180,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
