Senior Technical Program Manager F/T
Overview
Work closely in partnership with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and development teams to keep the teams on track and meeting deliverables.
Role
Organize and accelerate a group of related technology projects or activities across multiple teams, aligning dependent organizations.
Plan, execute, and deliver projects from inception to completion related to a known technology, product, or program.
Describe and maintain the integrated plan that accounts for internal/external dependencies, differing delivery approaches, numerous constraints, and contingency for unplanned delays.
Identify and fill gaps between regions, architectures, and organizations.
Manage across the portfolio assessing business/technical trade-offs while working across organizations for ways to align teams, technologies (i.e., the infrastructure used to build/deploy/operate services), and organizations into approaches that optimize organizational structures and operating mechanisms.
Adept at building consensus and leading resolution of contentious issues.
Decompose complex processes into simple straight forward solutions.
Create mechanisms to effectively report out and control execution.
Recognize complexity and create predictable delivery paths for large and/or complex efforts.
Measurably improve, streamline, and/or eliminate excess processes.
Utilize cross organizational mechanisms to describe and drive continuous improvements.
Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility ensuring your program stays aligned with organization objectives.
Organize and coach engineering teams around Scrum / SAFe methodologies.
About You
Position requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Security or related and two (2) years of experience in job offered or as a Program Manager, System Analyst, or related. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience.
Qualifying experience must include at least one (1) year with each of the following: Program Management; Utilizing agile development methodology; Delivering technical programs in agile delivery models including Scrum and Kanban; JIRA; Excel; Confluence.
Rate of pay: $146,994 - $181,000/ year.
