Experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions with structured and unstructured data, data lake, advanced analytics, machine learning (ML), microservice integration, and containerized applications. Evangelizing cloud solutions, leading business and IT stakeholders through designing secure, scalable, and optimized AWS architecture. Ability to be hands-on delivering the target solution and mentoring team members to build and support them. Using Amazon AWS public cloud technologies, our team implements state of the art, scalable, high performance Cloud solutions with a focus on speed to market and configurable solutions to advance our business.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Cloud roadmap, and strategies for enterprise adoption. Take inputs from Enterprise Architecture and business stakeholders.
- Design and build a cloud architecture that offers guidance across network, storage, Big Data, serverless architectures, RDBMS & NoSQL databases, security, and auditing
- Define tools used for monitoring and alerting cloud systems
- Maintain and enforce resource tagging for the purposes of maintenance and financial reporting
- Design and develop automation for governing usage of cloud services
- Develop proof of concepts to mentor the team on building cloud data systems, applications and IT services in a greenfield environment
- Document patterns and best practices for cloud services
- Work with the technology team to define roles and responsibilities for the team to support cloud applications
- Participate in deep architectural discussions to build confidence and ensure customer success when building new solutions and migrating existing data applications on the AWS platform.
- Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering organization
- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork and self-organization
Skills and Qualifications
- Combination of education/experience in cloud computing, software development, data management and networking that would enable incumbent to meet essential duties and required competencies of the position is required.
- Knowledge in AWS services - Route53, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Virtual Private Cloud (VrdPC), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage System (S3), Relational Database Service (RDS), Identity & Access Management (IAM), CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Lake Formation, RedShift, Athena, Simple E-mail Service (SES), Simple Notification Service (SNS), Connect, Pinpoint, Lambda preferred. Typically requires 4 - 7 years of related experience, prefer a minimum of 3 years of experience in a cloud enabled environment. May require a bachelor's or master's degree or its equivalent. AWS certification preferred.
